So there's a little story... A couple weeks ago I saw a garment bag from this place called S-Zone and decided to grab it because on a couple trips we decided having one would have been helpful. That arrived, we checked it out, were thrilled by the quality, and knew it was going to get used. Flash forward to the other day and I spot another bag - a weekender. Which really, we didn't need - we have a couple great ones - but... it was that same S-Zone company and we loved the garment bag and this one was the same color and leather, so I grabbed it too... and we are again THRILLED! And yes, we will keep an eye out for S-Zone in the future and seriously consider going back. Now we haven't taken a trip in a couple months, but some are coming, so we are feeling ready... with BOTH the S-Zone garment bag and now this S-ZONE Duffle Bag for Travel! The S-ZONE Duffle Bag for Travel arrived today... (so you're up to date on the story) and it is as impressive as the garment bag. Check out the pics above where we show how they match (you can get both bags here on Amazon and look for my review of the garment bag). They both arrived in this white bag, which is a great presentation for gifting giving, but do not make the mistake we did on the one today - my wife accidentally threw it out - but keep this white bag for storage. Both these bags came folded up nice and "small" and fit in the bag and give you a nice way to store them. We punted: we ended up putting the garment bag into the weekender and it fits! I'll try the first white bag and see if it fits, but that's another story... But the idea that we can store the one in the other and keep them together is bonus. So, the materials and construction: great! The materials look really nice and actually feel really nice. We both feel like this alone will account for some good longevity in the life of the bag. The leather is super nice and well connected to the material. The zippers are excellent and again feel like there is some serious longevity into what we'll get out of them. That alone makes these bags worth it. As mentioned above, the two bags match - so you can build a set for yourself. But while that seems like a flippant statement, it is one of the main reasons I grabbed this S-ZONE Duffle Bag for Travel when I spotted it. I already knew that we loved the garment bag (check the pictures for how well they match and work together), so I knew we'd love this. And while my wife thought I was a big foolish for getting another weekender when we have a few, I had a hunch... that played out. We both love these bags. The matching is a bonus. (And yes, we will look - if needed - to see if there are other bags in the lineup to match these to, that we might need). This is a really cool designed bag! The thing folds in half. So, you know how weekenders tend to be something you set on their base, then open to about 2/3rds, and then load from the top... this actual opens in half, like a suitcase, and you can load both sides. There are outer mesh pockets for those things you want to keep aired out or see easily. Then these two halves. It is SO easy to see, open, load, close, pack. I cannot wait to have to pack... it's going to be great. I can do both of us in a single bag for a couple days. I can use cubes or not - it's like these halves are almost their own cubes - I am just looking forward to this well thought out and designed bag.For us, this S-ZONE Duffle Bag for Travel is a weekender. It's not a 5+ day kind of bag. No worries on that. We have that kind of suitcase. But for two people for a weekend, or just me on a bit longer, I'm golden. In fact, I would put money on my being able to travel for that 5 - 7 days and use just this bag (based on how I pack and what I take).Hey, I admit it, it's been a number of years since I bought any new luggage of any sort so I'm not really familiar with all the bells, whistles', and new designs, but recently have had the chance to get a few pieces and with this S-ZONE Duffle Bag for Travel and the garment to match, I feel like I have a whole new approach to a great packing/unpacking experience. I was trained to pack by my mom, a former Flight Attendant, and I'm pretty pro level at it. I truly feel like these S-Zone bags are upping my game even more. My wife and I are really happy with the choice, with the S-Zone product, and with this S-ZONE Duffle Bag for Travel (and the matching garment bag). In the end... we can't wait to get back out there and travel - with our new S-Zone bags.I went out of town for the day and needed to change into a formal outfit, so I brought everything in this bag. Please keep in mind that I put in 2 makeup bags. The fabric and handles are very sturdy. The zipper are definitely commercial quality. They can probably stand anything. There are 2 mesh pockets inside and one has a vertical one for easy access. The front zippered pocket has more zippered storage and it's a great place to out your shoes. There's also a double pocket on the back. It's a zippered pocket with an opening behind it for a drop in spot. Perfect for a phone. And the main zipper runs from bottom to bottom. I also liked that it make folded into a shoe bag style bag. What I didn't like. The back side is pretty much just flat, while the front has all the space. It feels like it's meant to be placed on its back and then flipped open. It doesn't have any non-mesh pockets, to put things that may spill, like lotion. It doesn't have a shoulder strap. Even before the makeup, the bag is heavy. You know as soon as you take it out of the box. This is not a long travel bag. Aside from my makeup bags which took about a sq ft, I had my outfit with all the foundation items, shoes and extra clothes to change later. Once, I changed I stuffed my travel clothes in. Just the jeans took a lot more space than the dress. It all fit either way, but... it was tight with the jeans in there. So, I would think you can fit a couple outfits, but it truly is a weekender bag.It will definitely get some serious use. I might start going away on weekends, just to use it.Do you take a lot of short trips? This bag is big enough to store 3-5 days' worth of clothes and shoes. It's bigger than a weekender bag and smaller than a full-sized suitcase.— QUALITY —The quality of the canvas feels very sturdy and durable. The leather detailing is made of, and I'm not making this up, "crazy horse leather." It basically absorbs skin oils, and over time will give it a natural patina and an aged look. Big fan of leather with character.— POCKETS —This has eight zippered pockets, six open pockets, and two pencil pockets. It's a little overkill, especially when you're trying to tell your partner which pocket your phone battery is in. "It's in the main, left, left side!" But, if you have a lot of things, it will definitely keep everything organized.— SUMMARY —This is a terrific duffel that will pair well with a carry-on rolling suitcase (because of the built-in strap-on for your suitcase handle). It's more than enough for a week-long getaway.Nice details. Well constructed, double zippers, two separate compartments that zip together in the middle increase the functionality. Nice amount of zipper pockets. Attractive canvas with faux-leather details, faux brushed copper style zippers. Personally using it for storage/organization right now and it's really perfect for that.First, if you’re looking at the pictures, the color on the website is more accurate than my pictures. This bag is made out of strong canvas, but is not too heavy like the last one I bought. This one is much lighter. It looks like a duffle bag when closed, but folds out like a regular suitcase. There are zippered flaps on both sides to keep everything nice and neat. The back pocket is also a sleeve to fit over a suitcase handle, which is always appreciated. All the seams appear to be well-done and strong. I did not see any weak areas. This bag is the perfect size for a short trip and is much easier to use than a regular duffle bag. This bag is really nice, and different than I'm used to. Nice thick canvas, it's not like a normal duffle bag, it's opens like a suitcase but with two equal halves to separate things instead of just dumping everything together. It has a good amount of zippered pockets and nice sturdy handles. My wife can't wait to use it.This bag is super stylish and very roomy. Well made, it can store a great deal on all your trips. Highly recommend.
